New York Massage Exam Deadlines: September 2026 and March 2027
For New York's March 12, 2027 massage exam, the NYSED licensure application is due November 1, 2026 and the separate exam registration is due December 1.
- Use the NYSED date table before planning an exam attempt.
- File the licensure application and exam scheduling application separately.
- Study the New York blueprint instead of MBLEx percentages.
- Prepare early because the exam is offered only at limited times during the year.

NYSED continues to require the New York State Massage Therapy Examination. Its license-requirements page lists September 18, 2026, March 12, 2027, and September 10, 2027 examination dates with separate licensure-application and exam-scheduling deadlines.
What this means
New York candidates should track two deadlines, not one. For the March 12, 2027 exam, NYSED lists a November 1, 2026 licensure application deadline and a December 1, 2026 examination scheduling application deadline.
